where can i buy a canon powershot G1 camera charger in the UK?
I am about to have a baby (he's over a week late). And i would like to take my camera only problem is i dont have a charger for it.. I believe it is at my mums house somewhere but it'll be too much hassle to look for it. Do you know of anywhere in the UK that i could get one?? Ebay is not an option.

The old G1 (released in 2000), uses USB 1.0. It might be easier for you to just go out and buy a CF card reader to use with your CF memory card.

Importing pics from a Canon PowerShot G1 with no software....?
How can I do it? My ex left his camera @ my place and I would like to get some pictures off of it, but I don't have the software.
I have dl'd all of the necessary drivers and have even got them onto my computer once before but, I can't figure out for the life of me how I did it. I've tried all of my photo editing programs and none of them will import them.
My comp recognizes the cam but, won't do anything with it.
Help me, please. (The pictures are way too cute to stay on a camera)
This camera uses CF (CompactFlash) type I and II memory cards, and since it doesn't have any internal memory, chances are, those photos are stored in a CF card inserted in the camera.
So, if either your computer doesn't recognize the camera, or the drivers don't work and you don't know what's wrong with them, simply buy a cheap memory card reader with CF support (most of them have it, since CF is still the second most used memory card format), and transfer them with this memory card reader. That way, you won't need the camera's USB cables and non-working drivers and programs at all.
