Canon PowerShot SD110?

How can i get my camera [Canon PowerShot SD110 Digital ELPH] to be a webcam for hotmail messenger? i dont have any disks for it so any sites on how to do it would be very helpful thanks =]

You will have to bypass the auto-shutoff feature on the camera and buy a AC adapter to supply power to your camera, since the batteries used in digital cameras are designed to be used for short periods of time (the adapter may cost more than buying a real webcam)

Go to best buy and buy a converter 3000 and it will hook to your computer and you can use it as a webcam.

Fhotoace is right, should save your money to buy the real webcam, its not too expensive, keep your camera in the rest when possible, it will be long lasting. If use it as a webcam you will spend more money for the supply than buy a webcam.

how do i transfer video clips from my powershot Canon SD110 to my computer, i have the cables.?

U must hav the Cd with ur camera, just install the software and connect the camera wd computer using cables. u will be able to transfer all the pics.....

Connect the cables, IN my computer find the camera double click it, then drag and drop the videos to the folder you want on your computer.

Problem with Voice on My Camera (Canon SD110 Powershot)?

I'm a singer. lol. On my old crappy camera (I have a new one, but voice is barely picked up), my voice sounds fine when I play it back on the camera. However, once I upload it onto my computer, it sounds different. I'm to embarrased now to put up videos on youtube because it makes me sound terrible (and I've gotten horrible comments because of it).

Basically, my question is, is this normal? Is it possible for the quality to be lost when uploaded? I mean im in the chorus and my teacher loves me, so obviously my voice isn't as bad as it sounds when I upload (playing back on camera it sounds fine).

YouTube runs all the videos you upload through a compression and conversion process so it doesn't take 15 hours to load everything. Problem is, that process also tends to screw up the audio with some video file types - typically it's just an audio synchronizing problem, but having the audio quality get degraded as a result wouldn't be surprising.

Keep in mind that YouTube recommends MPEG4 video with MP3 audio, while your Canon's recording video in AVI/motion JPEG with WAV audio, so it's almost inevitable there's going to be a quality loss.
