South Side Post Office Will Stay Open Patch.com
The U.S. Postal Service has delivered an early Christmas present to the people of South Bethlehem: The Post Office on W. Fourth Street is not going to close as part of a current study to discontinue service in some communities.
According to a story in The Express-Times , the South Side branch is one of a handful that have been removed from a list of nearly 3,700 post offices under consideration for closure as part of a plan to reduce costs of the debt-laden federal agency.
In October, about 40 SouthSide residents turned up for a community meeting at Broughal Middle School to urge the Postal Service not to close the neighborhood branch.
A closed branch would have forced South Side residents, including 300 post office box holders, many of whom only walk or use public transportation, to take two buses to make their way to a north Bethlehem branch on Wood Street .
All post offices being considered for closure supposedly earned less than $27,500 in annual revenue, earned less than $600,000 and had five other places to buy stamps within two miles, or earned less than $1 million annually and had five other places to buy stamps within half a mile.
The South Side location did almost $362,000 in walk-in business last year, according to the president of the local postal workers’ union, Bernie Ogozalek.
Last month, the postal service announced that it finished its fiscal year with a net loss of $5.1 billion.

What is the maximum SD card memory that Nikon CoolPix 3700 can reach?
Currently i have a 16mb and 256mb SD card for my Nikon CoolPix 3700 model. I plan to buy an extra SD memory, but i am worry if I buy too big capacity of SD memory, the camera might not able to detect them.
Anyone use Nikon CoolPix 3700 here? And what is the maximum SD memory capacity you can reach per single SD card?
I don't have a Coolpix 3700 available for testing, but I have a lot of experience with SD on other devices.
The original SD 1.0 standard was 1 Gbyte. Anything that claims to support SD should work with cards up to 1 Gbyte. Most newer devices also work fine with 2 Gbyte cards, but I have also have experienced compatibilty problems with 2 Gbyte SD cards. The Coolpix 3700 is five years old, so it may not work with 2 Gbyte cards. Above 2 Gbyte, the rule is that it doesn't work.
My advice: 1 Gbyte should work fine, 2 Gbyte may work (test), and forget about larger cards.

Which is a better bike to buy for a commuter bike the trek 4300 or the trek 3700?
Dont really know much about bikes. But foudn some trek 4300 and trek 3700 on craigslist and want to start biking from place to place. I was just wondering what would be a better bike overall to use no the road.
The Trek 4300 does not have disk brakes, but has better components overall, and is a much better bike. If they both fit, and cost the same, the 4300 wins hands down. I'd look at getting either a flat-bar road bike, or a road bike meant for commuting as an ideal. At the very least put some slick tires on the mountain bikes to let them roll better.
