What's the difference between a 4400 mAh and 4800 mAh laptop battery?
I'm buying a new replacement battery for my laptop and found a 4400 mAh battery and a 4800 mAh battery. Is there a big difference in the battery life?
Obviously, the second is 9% better!
It doesnt matter, it can be 1mah. the voltage, apmerage and physical dimmensions most importantly matter what are the rest of the specs of the batter.
(current battery life/current capacity)*new capacity = new battery life.
If I told you right, you should be able to figure out the new battery life of the 4800. So if your current battery lasted 1 hour, you would do
(60 / 4400) * 4800 = 65.4545455.
The new battery would give you about 5 more minutes of run time, or about 65 minutes. Compare that to the price, and decide whether to buy it. Keep in mind you can always switch the batteries (if you have them), so a more appropriate equation would be
(current battery life/current capacity)*new capacity + current battery life = run time using both batteries.
Test your laptop's battery life (you may want to use power saver mode), and plug the numbers into that equation too see additional life, and decide if it is worth it. Hope I helped.
Should i run Crossfire X with a 3800 series and a 4800 series graphics card?
I have a Sapphire HD 3870 graphics card. I was wondering if i use a card from the 4800 series (a higher model) would it still work or run good?
If you make under 30k, you will automatically get 4800 dollars back from taxes? What?
Okay, here is the deal. I heard from about 10 different people that since my family of 3 makes less than 30k a year, we will automatically get back 4800 back in taxes along with whatever else we can deduct. The thing is, we have to directly ask them that we want this money. I would like to believe that this is true, but is it really? And if it is, what do we have to ask for?
If your family of three includes a child eligible for EIC, with an income under $30K a year you are most likely eligible for EIC,but EIC for a married couple with one qualifying child and just under $30K income is $2458. If you wouldn't owe anything BEFORE EIC is calculated, that amount is added to your refund. With income $12K to $18K , the $4800+ for EIC would be a good number.
What is the best printer paper to use for black and white inkjet prints from a epson 4800 printer?
In the past in the wet darkroom, I have used Illford Pearl B&W paper along with 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 contrast filters. I love what I get with that combo. Any suggestions about inkjet printer paper to get a truely great black and white print?
I love Epson Velvet...but this is not a glossy paper. Very expensive however.
Hahnemuhle.
Personally, I use Epson papers for my Epson printer. I use Premium Glossy most of the time (at least more than 50-60% of the time) and Premium Luster the rest of the time. If I am going to be giving a print away, I use the luster, because people are not careful how they handle prints and this won't show fingerprints. It is a very nice, heavy paper, too.

What are the dimensions needed for a foundation and How many concrete columns do I need for a 4800 sqft home?
I'm trying to estimate the cost for building a three story home (Basement, first floor and second floor). So I need to know roughly the dimensions of a standard concrete foundation and how many columns both horizontal and vertical (concrete columns is the only thing allowed in this area - no wood) I would need for that house and their dimensions.
Also any idea of how many cubic yards in concrete that would be will be of great help.
And finally any idea on how much steel would be needed within the columns would be appreciated.
Thank you very much
It sounds like you are required to have concrete piers vs a block or concrete wall foundation. If you aren't required to have piers, then a wall and footer system is probably more economical. But if required, due to soil conditions, then consult with a foundation contractor. If you are just getting an budget together. He can give the dimensions and requirements, if he truly has experience with this type of construction. And that will give you a rough idea of cost. Especially if he bids material and labor. But before you build, have an engineer design the foundation. One of three things will happen.
1)The contractor will be right. Peace of mind. The contractor knows his business.
2)The contractor oversized things, and the engineer saved you some money.
3)The contractor undersized things, and the engineer just prevented your new home from having foundation problems.
All three out outcomes means the foundation gets done right.
But go ahead and let the contractor do the homework, in fact get a couple of bids. It will give you a median to work with.

Is $4800 a good price to replace 8 windows?
We are replacing eight windows in our house with double hung windows, is $4800 a good price or do you think we might be paying too much? This price includes installation and the windows, and the windows have a lifetime guarantee.
I am also wondering our window person said once we order the windows it will take approx. three to four weeks for them to come in and then they will install, does that sound right?
I think if they are custom windows and it includes taking your old ones out and disposing of them and installing the new ones...it sounds like you are getting a good price. If buying them standard sizes, then it may be a bit high. Make sure that the windows are vinyl and low E this means that the sunlight won't fade your carpets and fabrics on couches etc. Check out Home Depot, or Lowes, we got a very good deal when we purchased ours last year.
Interest on a bank savings account for tax year 2008 was $4800.00 does this have to be reported as income?
Does a person who's only income is $4800.00 interest earned on a bank account and $15,000.00 SSA (social security) do they have to file a tax return and report this to the IRS. Bank issued a 1099 int.
How can I get a $4800 loan to pay off my judgement with a debt collector with a 572 credit score?
I live in NJ, been working close to 5 years, applied for a loan at my credit union today and was denied. The paralegal who I talked to said that I have until the 25th of Feb. to pay it off. The only thing is if I choose montly payments then I will still have interest and also I will still have a judgement against me. What can I do?
How many questions did you ask your credit union when applying for the loan? There are many different ways to get a loan, it just depends on how you go about approaching it. Do you have anyone who would co-sign with you? Do you have anything that you can put towards the loan? Maybe a vehicle for collateral?
If you have been a member with the credit union for some time, then they should be able to cut you a little bit of slack. Be sure to ask more questions and be completly thorough about your situation. Depending on how much they value their members, they should at the very least tell you who else can help you if they cannot. Credit Union are member owned, the more business they have with members the better they grow.
Is there an Infrared Filter in a Coolpix 4800?
I have a Coolpix 4800 and if there is a filter in the camera that blocks Infrared light, I'd like to remove it. Is there one?
How do I remove my motherboard from my dell dimension 4800?
I am trying to put my dell into a new case but am having trouble removing the motherboard. All the screws are off but somehow it won't budge. The problem lies in the back of the computer where you plug everything into the motherboard. I can't figure out how to dislodge the MOBO from the back of the case. I have removed all the screws that I can see.
Often the backing plate (where everything plugs in) is crimped onto the case. Gentle prying will dislodge the plate. Always beware of the dangers of static electricity.
