Testing the HD quality on my Kodak EasyShare M1033
Testing the HD quality on my Kodak M1033 in indoor lighting. To be quite honest, I do not like this camera. My previous camera was a Kodak V803 ...

how do you upload pictures from a kodak easyshare M1033 camera to facebook?
I recently got a kodak easyshare M1033 camera and have no idea how to upload my pictures on to facebook.... Can someone please help me? Thank u in advance :]
You just download from the camera to your computer. Did you read your instruction manual? You will either use a USB cable to transfer the photos into the computer or a card reader. With a card reader, you take the memory card out of the camera and insert it into the reader and download into the computer.
The photos will probably go into the My Pictures folder. When on Facebook, just follow the steps to upload photos. It will let you select the photo from your computer and upload it to Facebook.

can I upload photos from my kodak easyshare m1033 camera without the software?
all previous cameras have enabled me to take the photos from a folder in windows explorer that show when i connect the camera. The kodak m1033 does not show up when i connect it?
Make sure the camera is in the OFF position when plugging it into the computer>>once it's plugged in then turn it onto Review
Which is a better digital camera: Kodak EasyShare M1033 or Canon's PowerShot SD750 Digital ELPH?
Which would be a better purchase for snapshots for printing and e-mailing and occasional videos that can be e-mailed? Quality of photos and ease of use are important.
I have always like kodak personally!! I also have heard of reviews that Kodak is better. But it is really a personal prefrence! what does the cameras come with and what are they all capable of and how many pixels are they. I have a kodak and I have yet not had a problem with emailing or uploading the pictures on the computer and then onto online!
Does anyone have a kodak easyshare m1033?
On the smart capture mode, how do I put the battery life on the bottom icons? It doesn't show the battery life icon.
I have looked up the on line manual for your camera but I could not find an answer to your problem. Hopefully someone else that has the same camera as yours can provide an answer otherwise various ways of contacting Kodak directly can be found here - http://www.kodak.com/global/en/service/publications/urg00846toc.jhtml?chapsec=urg00846c7s0&pq-path=12649/12701

The Canon camera below is probably a better buy. Have looked at these cameras at Walmart and found the Canon cameras were really all about the same except as the size went down, the price went up.
While most of the cameras out there are really good, I would choose Canon over Nikon because it seems like more camera for the money. Some would say Canon withholds their best technology for high end cameras and Nikon implements their best at all levels. Before you decide, read all the text and links in the information below because it will help you know what to look for in a camera.
There is no one particular place to get great buys, but you may see something below that really helps you find the best buy. Click on the first link in the information below for an example then search for your camera of choice at the upper left. Camera prices at this link change often.
Just saw this camera at Best Buy and think it is a great camera and a best buy. It has an optical viewfinder, image stabilizer, auto focus, and uses NiMH rechargeable batteries. Read as much of the following as you can for other information and help with choosing a camera.
Canon A590IS $149.99 at Best Buy store yesterday.

There are so many cameras out there it is difficult to say which is best, but digital is definitely the way to go. The second source link will be very helpful as it list most of the cameras out there with prices. The following information should help you know what to look for in a camera.
What gives a camera its picture quality?
The short answer is that it is mostly the skill of the photographer that produces high quality pictures. The lens and camera are very important, but the ability to set the scene, adjust the cameras settings, and hold the camera very still or use a tripod with auto or remote shutter actuation when required is what gets the great pictures.
When buying a new camera, look for an optical viewfinder (LCD not visible in bright sun) and check replacement battery prices. High mega pixel settings may not be best. It takes longer to process and may not be needed unless required for very large pictures or enlarging small parts of big pictures. Maximum print size for a 3 mega pixel setting is 8 x 10 inches.

The information about my camera is just to show that you don't need the biggest and best. Just know how to use the one you have.
My camera has 5.2 mega pixel, but I use 3 most of the time because it gives great results, is faster, and takes less memory. Also, it only has a 3 x optical zoom and 7 x digital zoom. I never use the digital zoom because making pictures larger works better on the computer. This is an old camera, but everyone is impressed with the quality pictures it takes ... like magic.
Check with the Geeks in several stores and compare prices. Ask what cameras they own, but don't believe everything you hear. Once you select a camera read all about it in the owner's manual. Just learned that my camera has red-eye prevention and correction. It also has adaptive lighting. You may be able to view owners manuals at this link, but will need to Login. http://www.retrevo.com/s/digital+camera ...

Kodak M1033 Easyshare Problems?
I turn on my Kodak M1033 Easyshare digital camera and it stays on for about two seconds, then shuts off. When it actually does stay on, none of the buttons work, the picture is extremely blurry, and the green light stays on. I know people keep saying to check the battery, but I charged the battery for about nine hours straight and this still happens. I'll probably return it to get a new one, but I would like to know what's wrong with it?
I retired my 5yr old Kodak Easyshare recently after having the same issues...it was eating batteries...
The green light should stay on...thats what tells you the batteries have power and the camera is ready to take a picture.
Why not do a quick test with those batteries (they're rechargeables arent they?) put them in something else and see how they perform, if they're still cr@p then I agree with you, return he camera and see if the salesperson can fix the problem or get an exchange...
A little word on rechargeable batteries, they come in different strengths...for best performance they should be rated 2500mAh or higher (it will say on the battery)...any less than that is not powerful enough for a digital camera.
what is the biggest sd card i can put in my Kodak EASYSHARE M1033 Digital Camera? Can i use a 4Gb card?
The kodak website states that the camera has
Storage 32 MB internal memory* available, SDHC/SD card expansion slot
SDHC is the specification for the larger memory cards.. (above 2GB), so based on that I'd assume it can take 4GB memory cards. but it doesn't actually say so.
Kodak identify SD cards (0.5gb or 1 gb) as accessories for this camera... but that doesn't mena tha much.
2 camera comparisons? PowerShot SD1100 IS & Kodak EasyShare M1033?
I dont know what to choose! Anyone have any experience with any one of these cameras? pros and cons? etc.
thanks a bunchh
powershot sd1100
pros: small and convenient, fast shutter speed, a lot of settings you can choose from including video function.
cons: not sure if it's on all cameras, but on mine, whenever there is a pure purple color, it comes out almost royal blue. not so clear, flash changes color a lot.
if you want to just take pictures for like myspace, facebook, etc, it's good to get.. but if you want to invest in a camera to use for photography or something really high-quality, don't get it.
Flip video camera or Kodak EasyShare M1033?
im looking to buy a nice small camera that will give good video quality, the kodak says it gives HD quality videos in 720p but the flip was made for videos. which camera do you think is better for shooting videos. if u have any other idea of small compact cameras please tell me.
I have Kodak easyshare M1033 , and it's very goof camera ,
small size and great performance so far ,
about the video it's High defenition But indoors or in dark places it's not so clear ,
outdoors or in good light it's perfect .
