Chances are your camera is just broken, but they might have a solution for you.
ok you have a few options..
1. If you have a warranty, you can call kodak and they will allow you to send it in and fix it.
2. You can use the troubleshooting guides on kodak.com and try to manually reset it.
Remember, every camera, had a 1 year warranty, if its been over a year, then you will need the extended warranty, which you needed to buy when you purchased the camera.
*note* I have the extended warranty and I had to send mine in THREE times to get it fixed because it works for a while and then the same thing happens even if i don't drop it.
Best advice: get a different brand camera :[
sorry i know that doesn't really help.
How do I connect my Kodak easyshare M753 without EasyShare?
I just got a Kodak easyShare m753. I put the new disk into my computer and downloaded the new software. NOW Kodak EasyShare won't work, and WONT DELETE. When I plug in my camera, a thing in the bottom of the computer pops up and says it detect the camera, but it wont show up on My Computer so I can get my pictures off. How do I fix this? Please, if you know I will appreciate your help very much.
I just bought an external SD card reader for 4 bucks at best buy.
Is a Kodak Easyshare M753 a good camera?
I just bought one for my mom. She's in her 50's and wanted a simple camera that had good quality. I use a Casio, but I realize those are a little more complicated. Have any of you ever used or read about the Easyshare M753?
i have a different easy share model and it drives me nuts because i like to use special settings but every time you turn it off the settings reset.
my mom loves her easyshare though because all she has to do is turn it on and start snapping.
I have a kodak EasyShare M753 and a SD 512MB memory card?
I have a Kodak EasyShare M753 and a SD 512MB memory card and when I insert the card into my camera it tells me that it requires formatting so I try to format it (I know it will delete my photos) and it won't work it just trys to read the card and tells me to format it again.
It's likely there's something wrong with the card, and it's basically trash now. You can buy a replacement SD card for very little money, though - most stores carry 512MB-1GB SD cards for between $15-25, and you can find even better deals at websites like http://www.buy.com.
How do I turn on the Kodak EasyShare M753 light meter?
I need to see how much light exposure is in the photo for a science project, they said a digital camera does the same thing as a light meter. I dont see where to turn on that feature, if any on this camera. Any suggestions?
it's built into the camera. sometimes a digital camera will have spot metering. It will determine from different spots in the frame where to get the exposure. Like from the center, from the edges, from all points, etc. But basically, the automatic mode (P mode or Auto Mode) uses a light meter to determine if the flash needs to be used.
How do I transfer pics from my kodak easyshare m753 to my computer?
I have everything with it.I already tried putting in the disc but still didnt give me directions on what to do to get pictures from camera to computer...Does it affect how I put pictures on there if I plugged in the usb cord before I put in the disk because that is what I did.I do not have a dock so that could be another thing. When I plug the camera into the computer nothing happens.I have Windows Vista....
Any help is greatly appreciated Thnx in advance
How do I know when my Kodak EasyShare M753 is done charging or not charging?
I plug my camera in and the green light goes on and it stays on for a while, maybe 5-10 minutes, and then the light shuts off.
What does that mean?
It is much easier and better to charge your batteries as described below. A fast charge shortens the life of batteries. Have no idea what the camera light means, but the lights on the charger mentioned below stop flashing when the batteries have completed the charge cycle.
Camera reports batteries low, but is it low charge or bad electrical contacts? Overcharging can ruin good batteries! The secret to making digital cameras work better is having good electrical contacts between batteries and camera.
Digital cameras require lots of power. Bad electrical contacts can cause lots of problems so battery and camera contacts must be cleaned properly. Batteries may be fully charged, but will be viewed as low if contacts are not really good. The LCD screen is a low steady load, but when lens extension, optical zoom, focus, and flash charging are added in the capture mode; the load is very heavy. Bad contacts make cameras do strange things like making bad pictures or shutting off with the lens out.
CAUTION Do not overcharge! Batteries can be damaged. Use an automatic two or more hour Energizer Compact smart charger with temperature monitor, trickle charge technology, and safety timer ($9.76) at Walmart. Use pre-charged 2000mAh Duracell ($12.97) or RayOVac ($5.97) batteries and a full cycle charge (holds charge one year). To preserve battery charge, use the viewfinder.
Never touch battery ends or camera electrical contacts. Oil from fingers will contaminate contacts. Use batteries in matched pairs of same brand and rating. Do not mix old and new batteries. New will only do as well as old.
NiMH batteries should be recharged when camera reports batteries low. Old batteries can discharge over night, but may provide normal service immediately after being charged. Battery pairs no longer usable in cameras may work well in flashlights. Do not drop batteries on a hard surface or allow voltage below one volt to prevent polarity reversal.
Digital cameras reset to original settings if batteries are removed for one minute. Time varies with function/camera. Check display/setup menu for non-auto functions and date/time. Remove extra memory to eliminate this as a possible problem. Insert fully charged/cleaned batteries and restart camera. The ultimate non-physical repair for software-using devices is reset by removing power ... VCR/DVD players one month.

Can I manual focus my kodak easyshare m753?
I've looked through the manual and the settings.
Here is the thing, say i want to take a picture of my eye or a small bug or somthing that needs to be really close up. The "flower" mode for close up shots dosn't focus all the way any closer then like 6 inches. Can i manual focus this? or any other tips for taking sharp super close pictures?
Thanks!
Even if there is a manual focus mode on your camera, usually manual focus on this kind of cameras is so hard to operate and so hard to see the result, that it's practically useless. Especially in macro situation where every millimeter counts. So auto focus is your best friend. And the reason why it won't focus closer than 6 inches is probably due to the fact, that it is a physical limit of your lens. If auto focus can't focus on an object closer than this, manual won't be able to either. Do zoom in all the way, then you'll be able to set the camera a bit further from the subject, while it will still take full frame.
LEM.
What are the perfect settings for a Kodak EasyShare M753?
My camera is producing pictures that are blotchy (pixelated) and the pictures aren't as big as other cameras photos. I know the resolustion has something to do with it, but which one should i use and are there any other settings i can use to adjust the quality of the camera?????
just make sure its on auto and the flash is on...that should help. as for them not being big enough...you can edit them on your comp but im not really sure what you mean by that
