How do you feel about the Kodak EasyShare V803 Digital Camera 8 MP?
How do you feel about the Kodak EasyShare V803 8 mp Digital Camera? I am a college student who takes a lot of photos. I have not ever used a Kodak. I have been using a Sony Cyber-shot 7.2 mp Digital Camera and have really liked it. Does the Kodak take good quality pictures? Have you had any problems with it? Should I just stick with the Sony? Thank you.

All you can really do is let it dry out.
It is probably dead though.
Might want to try a camera strap or waterproof camera next time.
Couple years ago a friend push me down the pool with my cell phone still in my pocket; after 2 weeks and a new phone later.. it worked again.

You may as well begin shopping for your new camera. Buy a nice comfortable neck strap for it. In 36 + years of using cameras I have yet to drop one.

It would probably cost nearly as much as buying a new one. Call Kodak (800) 235-6325 and ask them for an estimate. If the camera was dropped, there could be other things wrong with it, too.

Well you can get really nice new P&S cameras for between $150 to $200. If it will cost more than about $100, you will want to think about the new camera you will be buying.

For a little more money, depending upon what you are looking for there are several other easyshare cameras that do a little more than the v803. You can see some of the others on http://digitalframesgallery.com/ and sometimes get coupons to boot. They are under digital cameras.

Kodak EasyShare V803 video upload problems.?
So I have the Kodak EasyShare V803 camera. Every time I upload videos from the camera to my computer, they open with real player then just don't play. It's just a blank white screen. When I try to import the video into Windows Movie Maker it doesnt work either.
Any ideas on how I can fix this?
