What is the best place to find info about a Kodak easyshare z650?

Not so much the features as much as how to use them. Whats the best way to use the Pasm setting and what to do with the aperture ad shutter speed. I just feel my camera has a lot of features I am not utilizing to the fullest. Thanks!

the manual explains all that in full detail.
if you don't have the manual
download it from the kodak site

Go to the Kodak site and search for that style camera. It will give you all the spec.'s updates that will will want to know...

One of the best places to get usage information is in the reviews section of CNET.COM. They have an extensive review of the z650, and go into great detail on the camera's features, and what to exploit or avoid. For example (quoted WITHOUT permission):
============
Auto white balance yielded a slightly warm image with the tungsten lights in our test lab. While the tungsten preset turned in more neutral results, they look just slightly cool. Either setting should work though, with auto preserving that touch of warmth that some people prefer for indoor shots. In general, colors looked natural, and exposures were typically accurate, though very bright whites tend to become blown out.

what do u think of the Kodak EasyShare Z650 digital camera is it a good camera ?

is kodak a good brand or not?

On the eve of the 2006 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES), Eastman Kodak Company announced the new KODAK EASYSHARE Z650 zoom digital camera, the latest model in its Z-series line.

The 6.1-megapixel camera offers aspiring photographers exceptional performance and greater photographic control through its professional-quality SCHENIDER-KREUZNACH VARIOGON 10X optical zoom lens, helping capture detail from afar and flattering portraits.

“As with the entire line of EASYSHARE Z-Series cameras, the Z650 delivers more advanced control when needed and simplicity of operation for everyday situations,” said Carolyn Walsh, Product Sales Director Digital, Eastman Kodak Company. “Although the new Z650 has an impressive resolution, is also demystifies the conception that megapixels are the only standard of measurement when buying digital cameras. By adding advanced features like 10X optical zoom and a live histogram, Kodak has raised the bar by providing photographers with the tools to create high-quality photos, enhancing their overall digital photography experience.”

The EASYSHARE Z650 camera will be available worldwide beginning in February 2006 (£299.99 RRP.)

Other Innovative Features of the Z650 Camera

The EASYSHARE Z650 camera builds in a number of innovative features that photographers will appreciate, including:The exclusive KODAK Colour Science image processing chip that results in portraits with edge-to-edge sharpness and brightness, rich colour, accurate skin tones and highly accurate exposure;

Remarkable dynamic range, fine detail and delicate highlights
A large 2.0-inch, high-resolution indoor/outdoor LCD screen that allows previewing of shots or reviewing pictures stored in 32MB internal memory or on an optional SD/MMC card
A live histogram that enables photographers to see the exposure of their subjects before taking the shot
Automatic, aperture priority and shutter priority modes, plus 17 scene modes and 5 colour modes
A high-speed precision auto-focus system that offers fast click-to-capture times
First and last burst modes and flash compensation
On-camera editing features includes automatic red-eye reduction, cropping, blurry picture alert and auto picture rotation
5X advanced digital zoom delivers noticeably sharper pictures than regular digital zoom
The exclusive Share button to tag pictures for e-mailing, printing and saving to the on-camera digital photo album, computer, and online album as favourites
Making the EASYSHARE System Connection

Z-Series camera owners can quickly print KODAK 4 x 6-inch pictures with just one touch in as little as 60 seconds, using the new KODAK EASYSHARE Printer Dock Plus Series 3. The Series 3 printer docks are the first to support the new IMAGELINK print system, working with new EASYSHARE cameras and other manufacturers’ compatible cameras.

The Printer Dock Series 3 also transfers pictures to a connected computer, and recharges and reconditions the cameras’ batteries. Pictures made from EASYSHARE printer docks are vibrant, borderless, waterproof, and will last a lifetime, under typical photo album display conditions.

The line of EASYSHARE printer docks makes printing truly one-touch simple, and does not require people to connect a cable between camera and printer. Their convenience, print speed, ease-of-use and phenomenal picture quality have resulted in overwhelming demand from picture takers worldwide, with the line having achieved the number one market position in the United States, Australia and the United Kingdom, according to The NPD Group and GfK.

The Z-Series cameras include new KODAK EASYSHARE software version 5.2 for WINDOWS and MACINTOSH systems, providing effortless digital picture organisation, editing, sharing and printing. The exclusive One Touch to Better Pictures feature takes advantage of proprietary colour technologies developed by Kodak to help users get vibrant, true-to-life prints from inkjet printers. Version 5.2, which is available for free download from www.kodak.com, also makes sharing your favourite pictures as simple as possible, automatically placing them in albums on your camera, on your computer, and in your online KODAK EASYSHARE Gallery albums.

The KODAK EASYSHARE digital photography system consists of cameras, snapshot printers, services, docks, software, inkjet and thermal photo papers, and accessories, making taking, organising, sharing, and printing high quality digital pictures effortless.

I favor Canon check out this sight for reviews off current models

Yes, it is very easy to use and does just about everything you could want... if you aren't a professional photographer. You have all sorts of options for taking pictures (even short video). Not to say there aren't better digital cameras out there, but, for the price, if you pick up a Kodak easyshare you won't be disappointed. Also look at nikon coolpix or some cannons (that might be a little more expensive)

Has anyone ever used or now owns a Kodak Easyshare Z650 Digital camera and if so will you give me a review?

I am looking to buy one for my upcoming wedding and was wondering if anyone has had experience with using one and what the quality of the pictures are. Thank you in advance for you help!!!

They take good quality pictures and are very easy to use. You just have to get yourself oriented with using it. But all Kodak cameras are good to use.

No. I have not heard of that camera before. Did that answer your question. Always glad to assist someone in need of help.

well i dont own one but the link has user reviews. I hope this helps!!!

I don't have this camera, but here are some reviews by actual owners:
http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/read_opinions.asp?prodkey=kodak_z650

Its practical for work, not so professional, the only disadvantage i had ever seen in it till now is the Battery.

Well there are more capable cameras available that have much better photo quality and features and is a fairly average camera.
However, it might be just right for your needs.

Will a Kodak EasyShare Z650 camera use SDHC (Secure Digital High Capacity) cards?

I was wondering if these types of cards (4GB, 8GB, and 16GB) cards are compatible with the Kodak Z650.

According to the specs: http://www.kodak.com/eknec/PageQuerier.jhtml?pq-path=8018&pq-locale=en_US

Storage
32 MB internal memory, SD/MMC card expansion slot

The answers is no, SDHC cards will not work in that camera.

OK, I have the Kodak P850, and have had this problem in the past.

Turn the camera off, wait a few minutes and turn it on again. See if your computer recognizes then.

If that does not work, try reinstalling the drivers.

If that does not work, E-Mail me and we will see what we can do. . .

Kodak Easyshare Z650? Any Computer Expert Wanna help me?!?

Ok...Well
I'm a 11-year-old that it 100% smart with Computers and Laptops and stuff because I have a laptop program at my school but I can't seem to figure this out... I need a computer expert for this!
For Christmas, I got a Kodak Easyshare Z650 and I have been taking videos on it a lot.
I want to upload this one video on Window's Movie Maker, but everytime I try, it doesn't work. (My camera IS on and it's on Video Mode and I plugged in the USB)
It wont let me upload it unless I have something called codec or something... HELP?
One more question... can you like, crop a video? Like make it shorten?
By the way, I have Windows Vista Buisness and a Gateway Laptop.
Thanks!!!!

A codec is basically something you add on to a program or operating system that enables it to use a certain type of file. For instance you need an MPEG codec to view .mpg files, but that one is so commons it will most likely come with your program. What is the file extension on the video you are trying to import? And yes, you can crop a video, Windows Movie Maker should be able to do it. just make a google search for "FILE EXTENSION HERE Windows Movie Maker codec" without the quotes, and replacing FILE EXTENSION HERE with the file extension of your video.
