Is there a way to decrease the start up time for my Kodak EasyShare Z710?
I have a Kodak EasyShare Z710. I seem to miss alot of great photos because it takes so darn long for the thing to start up! Is there anyway to make this any faster, or is just a crappy camera?
You have discovered the "joys" of shutterlag.
Some of the little P&S cameras are a bit better than others, but they all suffer from it.
Shutterlag is one of the main reasons why people go from P&S cameras to DSLRs.
Nothing you can do, short of spending a lot of money on a better camera.
How do I put videos from my Kodak EasyShare Z710 onto the computer?
When ever I put a video from my camera to the computer it only comes up as a picture and not a video.
The computer (if you connect it to the camera via USB cable) usually "sees" JPG files. Whatever format the video files were saved in, I am guessing that the operating system isn't aware of it.
If you use a Card Reader to download these files, you can double-click on the "drive"--and it will display on your desktop. From there, you can copy and paste it to the hard drive and you can view it from there.
What adapter and lens can I use to add zoom to a kodak easyshare z710?
I love nature photography, and I love taking pictures of birds. It really is a pain though to get close to them, so I want to add some zoom to my camera. Does anyone know what adapters and lenses I can use?
I really do not recommend doing that.
Add-on lenses always degrade the image. Instead of spending the money, save the money and apply it to a camera more suitable for wildlife work.
I have a Kodak EasyShare Z710 camera but can not figure out how I can save a picture in smaller mega pixel.?
The camera takes great picture but I need to make the pictures smaller to place a picture in a classified ad and also to send smaller pics for email. Please help because I am not very technology oriented.
you could use some software to resize the pics.
Free software maybe as Picasa 2 of google, you could download it from the Google.com
and use it, you could easily resize the photo use the "export" button
and do some interesting things to your photo
other software as Photoshop ,you could do more.
Which one's better, Kodak Easyshare Z710 or Canon Powershot SX 100 IS?
I want to learn photography soooo much! But I have no money for DSLR! So, which one I should buy? Kodak Easyshare Z710 or Canon Powershot SX 100 IS?
Go with the Canon! Kodak makes good film, not cameras.
How do can i put pictures onto my memory card?Kodak Easyshare Z710?
Hi i have the above camera,i have taken pictures that have gone directly onto my camera but i now want to put them onto my cameras memory card(i don't get any option to do this when i put the memory card into the camera).
Is there anyway to do this??
Thanks
You can copy pictures and videos from a card to internal memory or from internal memory to a card.
Before you copy, make sure that: A card is inserted in the camera.
The storage location is set to the location from which you are copying. (See Image Storage in the table that starts on Changing picture-taking settings.)
Copy pictures or videos:
Press the Review button, then press the Menu button.
Press ▲/▼ to highlight Copy, then press the OK button.
Press ▲/▼ to highlight an option:
PICTURE or VIDEO - copies the current picture or video.
EXIT - returns to the Review menu.
ALL - copies all pictures and videos from one storage location to another.
Press the OK button.
can the kodak easyshare z710 use a sandisk SD HC card?
I recently purchased a Sandisk multi-use 4gb SD HC card for my kodak camera. when i put the memory card in my camera tells me it's unreadable. Can i fix this problem or should I just return the card?
If you had looked in the owners manual, you would have seen that your 2-1/2 year old camera only uses SD (up to 2GB) cards. Take the card back and buy two 2 GB cards instead .. then you will have a spare so you won't be tempted to make room on a nearly full card by deleting image files which in the end can cause corruption of the whole card.
This is one of the other resources you could have used before buying the wrong card.

Does anyone have the Kodak easyshare Z710?
I want a decent zoom on a camera, but want to spend under $250. Also, on Walmarts website, it's states that it's going to be discontined, maybe just from that store, but if Kodak is coming out with a new version, should I wait for a newer one?
I just got it yesterday.. sonotech02@yahoo.com Email me in awhile and I'll tell you how it's working!
Does anyone own a Kodak EasyShare Z710 7.1 MP digital camera with 10X optical zoom?
I am contemplating buying one and have read good ratings. I don't need anything super fancy, but want more than a basic digital camera. Any thoughts?
It fills the bill
Between Olympus SP 510UZ & Kodak Easyshare Z710 which one is the best according to performence & price?
Their specs are very similar. I'd go with the Olympus, which you can probably get a little cheaper than the Kodak. However, look at the features carefully and see if one of the cameras has a feature that you really like. For example, one of these cameras may have a brighter display or lower weight. These things might be important to you, and only you know if they are important. However, based on the specs and price, I'd go with the Olympus.
