Nikon Coolpix P300 - Made for serious photography

Nikon Coolpix P300 - Best Price: www.amazon.com Nikon COOLPIX P300 is a powerful compact camera with an incredibly bright lens that delivers ...

When i connect my Coolpix S6 to my Kodak EasyShare 300 printer, the camera screen turns black...?

Once out of every 20 times the pictbridge sign appears, but then it freezes. What am i doing wrong? can someone give me detailed step by step instructions on how to connect my camera to the printer? Like when to press the power button, when to plug in...and so on.

Thanks

Kodak printers don't always work with cameras other than the Kodaks. That may be the case.

I want to buy a nikon coolpix s60 they look really cool. Is it still worth my money 300 dollars. Please help?

I mainly want it for the paint with stylis option.

I ordered one and it's being delivered today (can't wait) All I wanted to say was if you want it get it, circuit city has all colors. I got the pink one for $310 (on sale). Don't let people tell you its not worth it or its just a camera... If you want that camera get it if not then overstock.com has cheap kodak cameras ($70-$80) with $1 shipping

Personally, I wouldn't bother. Most of those in-camera functions are unreliable or limited/limiting, or both.

I much prefer to concentrate on taking a GOOD photo, then add all the fun bits to it later in post processing where I have much more control over everything.
On top of that, I will still have the original, untouched, and I'll only "ruin" a copy of it, rather than regretting having done something odd to my photo.

i need a nikon coolpix 300 tripod mount?

ive looked everywhere can anyone help

lol. Just put it out of its misery and get a new one. One with a tripod mount.
(The CoolPix 300 is from 1997. It has a maximum resolution of 640 x 480 pixels.)

What's the difference between the nikon coolpix p80 and the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ28K?

I'm looking to buy a new camera with my christmas money and would like to know what the difference is between the two.

also are there any other cameras you suggest under $300 that are just as good if not better preferably that can have a fish-eye lens attached to them?
honestly I do not know a lot about digital cameras but I'm about to take a photography class, any information would be helpful.

the FZ28 has very good reviews

All of the major brands are good. Choose a brand that appeals to you. Then you have to think about getting a spare battery, what size memory card, if you want an extended warranty, how much you can afford, what size zoom, if you want manual controls, the size of the camera, finding a reliable place to purchase it, and the list goes on and on and on.......

The first thing to realize is that almost any digital camera will take good pictures. If more people would read the manual more than once, they would be able to take better pictures. Usually, the person assumes it is the camera when it could be them not knowing exactly what to do. Just give yourself more photographic knowledge by doing more reading on the internet.

I really believe buying a camera is an individual choice.
The person needs to read alot of reviews on cameras so they can decide on the features that they really want and need.
Go to the store and hold them so you can see if they feel comfortable in your hands. If possible, take some pictures in the store to check the quality of the pictures.
I can only give a suggestion of what to look for in a new digital camera.
Good Luck

Just different brands. Like how some car companies make similar models to compete. Do some research on them and buy the one you think will be good. Nikon is a good camera brand, I would go with that one.

Both are great camera and have almost same feature.Nikon come with Nikkor lens while Panasonic come with Leica lens but I prefer Panasonic.Another good one for this price range is Sony Cyber-shot DSCH50 9.1 MP with 15x Optical Zoom with Super Steady Shot or Olympus SP-565UZ 10MP with 20x Optical Dual Image Stabilized Zoom

how to get a camera for less than 300 dollars.?

The camera i want is a nikon coolpix s60 for less than 300 dollars.
the camera i want is a touch screen camera called nikon coolpix s60. if ders any cameras like that or if it is he same camera let me know

ebay or a electronical store

I got mine from Walmart and its great! It was like $120.00

Its a FujiFilm 8.2 Mega Pixel Finepix J10

EBAY

You can get all kinds of great cameras for under 300 dollars. I'd stick with Canon though. I had bad luck with Nikon.

Here's a great Canon camera for like $115

http://rcm.amazon.com/e/cm?t=cappismyspacp-20&o=1&p=8&l=as1&asins=B0011ZCDKS&fc1=000000&IS2=1<1=_blank&m=amazon&lc1=0000FF&bc1=000000&bg1=FFFFFF&f=ifr

I don't see it yet for less. Tri State wants $300- for it. Personally I feel that it's a lot of money for what you get.

what is a good sub $300 digital camera that takes good video with sound and takes good 7-8+ MP pix?

I'm looking for a compact or ultra-compact camera that takes good video and 8 or more mega-pixel pictures, for a general idea of what i am looking at, i am looking at the Canon PowerShot SD880 IS, and the Nikon Coolpix S700 so far

when looking for video usage from your camera..you want to capture at the highest resolution possible available in the market...right now that 1280x720 for compacts... such as Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX37. You also want a camera that allows optical zoom during recording... the Panasonic does, the Canon 880IS does not. if you will be doing any post-capture editing... MJPEG (.avi) are easier to work with than cameras that record to Quicktime (.mov) or MP4.

Suggestions on a camera that works well to take pictures of baby who blinks and we miss the op? $300 range?

I was told that the Nikon Coolpix s610 was good, but any one have any feedback or other types? My daughter always blinks when we take pictures because our older Kodak digital has too long of a flash or a multi-flash burst. Thanks!!

A) take several photos, possibly in burst mode

B) turn off your flash and take photos without it! Natural light looks sooooooooo much better than the harsh light on a P&S flash!

Which Nikon coolpix must i get?

I'm looking to buy a new camera, its just for recreational uses... I want to spend around $300(max) but less would be good and am looking for any nikon coolpix 10MP or more. What would you recommend?

Don't limit yourself to just Nikon. Most digital cameras from any of the “known” brands will be good. Whether it is the right one for you depends on how you intend to use the camera and your level of ability.

Here’s a good site to help define your needs.

Here are two good sites for reviews and recommendations.

Before you order from any online merchant, you should know there are many scam sites out there. “If it looks too good to be true, it probably is.” Check out merchants at:

Good luck and good shooting.

Please help with my camera! (Nikon coolpix 4700)?

I got a used Nikon coolpix 4700, with no user instructions. I can't find (in the settings menu) how to change the size of my pictures. I need to set it up for 300 dpi shots. Please help!

I think what you are looking for is the proper resolution to set your camera to. 300 DPI is not that great a resolution. If you set your camera to 600X800 resolution, that would be the lowest resolution your camera has, and probably close to 300DPI

Buying new digital camera today! budget 300?

my budget is 300 on the spot. I want a good digital camera, never had one before but i appreciate the quality. the nikon coolpix s6 catched my eye because of kate moss. but than again that commercial is been out for a while. any suggestions? or should i stick with nikon coolpix s6. please some suggestions
