Nikon Coolpix S9 Stop Motion Tutorial

Since I've been getting a good few questions about how I make my videos, I've decided to make this guide to the creation of stop motion ...

coolpix s9 how do you turn off the flash?

so i have coolpix s9 camera and the flash ruins pictures it flashes way too bright. it always makes me look GHOST PALE its so annoying. how do i fix it?

Open your manual. Read the manual. It will tell you.

Nikon Coolpix S9- I have to reset the date every time i charge the battery?

Every time after i charge the battery, when i put it back inside the camera and turn it on, i have to reset the time and date and timezone, and its really annoying.
How do i make it so that i dont have to reset it every time?

There is a small independent battery or capacitor that is supposed to hold that information in the camera while you charge the battery. It should last for at least 24 hours, more than enough time to charge any battery, NiMH or Li-ion.

Call Nikon USA's free live tech help line, (800) NIKON-UX, is open all the time, 24/7/365. They will help you.

get an adapter so it will have power after you take the battery out.

if you're that lazy then throw the camera away. then you won't have to reset it.

where can i buy Nikon coolpix s9 HOT PINk?

where can i buy Nikon coolpix s9 HOT PINk?

can you upload images from your computer that are saved on to a DSC Coolpix nikon S9 camera?

if so please tell me. its for my ps3 please tell me how to if you can!:)

Of course.you can. Just connect the Coolpix to your computer and turn it on. If you have a recent Mac or PC running XP or Vista the computer will "see" your camera as a removable drive. Then you just have to use your computer skills to drag and drop all your image files to your computer in a file folder you have named something that will remind you what images are in it.

i have a coolpix s9 camera and the lens wont close but the camera is off. i cant turn it on.?

what do i do to fix it, or who do i send it to?

Look for the nearest Nikon authorized repair station.

Call Nikon's help line 24/7/365 (800) NIKON-UX,

Did you drop it?

i had a similar problem with my last camera.. it was a panasonic but i blew really hard at the lense and for some reason it worked after that... idk try it

Mine does that when the battery is dead, ALL the time.

How to Charge Nikon Coolpix S9 battery?

Is there any way I can charge this without the MH-62 Nikon battery charger?

If not, where could I get it(trusted site) for cheapest?

Your camera requires the MH-62 charger. There is no other way to charge the battery. There are lots of places you can purchase this. I would try Ebay first http://photography.listings.ebay.com/Chargers_Nikon_W0QQfclZ3QQfromZR11QQsacatZ50516QQsocmdZListingItemList or Amazon http://www.amazon.com/Nikon-Battery-Charger-Coolpix-Digital/dp/B000816TC4 .Both sites other many to choose from. If you need the manual try this site. You can download on here. http://www.retrevo.com/s/Nikon-S9-Digital-Cameras-review-manual/id/564ag816/t/1-2/

How Much will it cost for "Brooken Screen Coolpix s9"?

Okay, they will NOT charge you $150.00 just to look at the camera, I don't know where he is getting that. The only places that may charge you to look at the camera would be an authorized repair center for Nikon cameras and even then, I doubt that they will charge you that much to look at and give you an estimate for repair.

What you may wish to do is go directly through Nikon USA. I think they may only charge you around $20.00 to look at the camera and give you an estimate. Or, if you want to call them directly and tell them what happened, they may be able to give you a quote over the phone. Their toll free number is (800) 645-6678. I hope that helps!

Where is the best place to get a Coolpix s9, magenta, for the cheapest price?

I would check www.aramartsupply.com

They seem to have every thing and they have the best prices on the web......

i cant get my nikon coolpix S9 to turn on, i know it has full power though?

help?

Here are some simple things to try first for a camera that won't power on. They won't work for every case, but they're worth a try:

My Nikon CoolPix S9 will not allow me to upload any pictures, with my battery charged and the correct chord...

and i checked the website and forums and the user guide. my computer doesn't even recognize it! AHHHHH. so darn frustrating! it does everything else fine exept upload precious pictures :[[[

Well you may have seen this complaint with all the different cameras made by all the camera companies.

Do that the pros do. Buy a card reader (under $15) and copy your image files from your memory card to you computer keeping the camera out of the loop. Two major complaints are that the "software" that people depend upon to do the work for them of moving images from the camera to the computer, doesn't work all that well and that when moving the image files from the camera (memory card) to the computer the batteries die mid transfer.
