Olympus EVOLT E-330?

I just rented a camera for the weekend, and I'm not familiar with this camera.

Is there any way to turn off the live view feature and simply look through the viewfinder? I can't seem to find the option on the camera, and I've tried A or B mode, but that only turns off and on manual focus.

Also, how do you use the auto-focus feature for a more "point-and-shoot" style?
