Can someone help me with a FE-115 olympus camera?

The camera turns on and the lens or whatever extends but after I a few seconds it goes off again. Yes I've read the manual and yes it have fresh batteries. Please someone help me....I'm pulling out my hair!

best take it to a repair shop.

I have Olympus fe-115 digital camera but when i try to upload everything on my camera the movies wont upload i want to put my movies on windows movie maker but i cant upload them if it helps i have windows vista

The only thing I can think of is:- 1.Have you got the correct software for your camera loaded onto your computer & if you have not-Go to the Olympus web-site & download it from there.This will give you the latest software for your camera.Or it could be (As I found out with a Logitech web-cam) that the camera is not compatible with Vista.Or 3.Your camera software disc is not compatible with Vista-Go as above to Olympus web-site.
If you cannot see the software download on the web-site,You could try to contact them via email/Phone.
If you do it via phone , Try :- http://www.saynoto0870.com/search.php --As this site gives out "normal" landline numbers & even free ones sometimes.
On top of this Olympus may be able to help you-As they may have come across this problem before.Hope this helps??

Olympus FE-115 Backup tells me..No writable drive found.why? when I am trying to put pics on CD-R,have burner?

I am wanting to do this from my Olympus program without moving the pictures out of it, just because it says Backup and I think it should be possible. I have Olympus Master Plus and a cd burner.

If you are using WinXP or Vista, just navigate to the folder the pictures are in, using Windows Explorer.
Put a CDR in the drive, select the pictures, click edit on the toolbar and select copy to folder. Browse to the cd burner and click OK.

i can record a video,but no sound how can i make it with audio?
i cant get it to record audio for some reason,can some 1 help me?

I'm sorry to tell you this...but your camera does not have a built-in microphone, so it cannot record audio.

In future, if you want to upgrade, make sure the camera has audio recording capabilities...and one that can record movies at the better frame rate of 30fps. Your camera records video at 15fps.

i hit on button lights flash nothing happens. yes i used fresh batts.

when u hit the on button, were ther any lights flicking behind? or does the camera jus stays dead?
lights flicking = parts problem ( tis case usually the motherboard)
stays dead = try another new sets of batteries n if it still stays dead most likely its oso a parts issue. suggest u send it down to the wrk shop to get a quote on how much it takes to fix it.

Im having a Yard Sale and the cam is like new I need to know whats a good price to charge for such nice Camara it has 5.0 Megapixel, 11 x zoom optical 2.8 times, Movie mode and a USB Wire to go. Cam dose has a few unsightly Schatch's thats not noticeable.

The FE-115 is a low-end Olympus point & shoot camera a little more than 2 years old. There isn't much of a market for old used P&S cameras. It doesn't sound like it's in mint condition either so I'd list it at maybe $30-$40 USD starting. Be VERY flexible with the price if you want to get any money for it. The same camera in good condition is fetching about $20-$30 on eBay.

I have an Olympus FE-115 camera with the carrying case and the cd and the box! I barely even used the camera but once. How much could I sell it for? and where can I sell it besides ebay and craigslist?

I don't know anywhere else besides ebay or craigslist, but here's a tip; go one ebay and sell your camera for $00.01 (a cent) then make the offer for at least 2 or 3 months. Check every week or every day if your not busy. Buy the 3rd month, you'll probably have a lot of bidders which means the camera will probably be hundreds of dollars.
