What photo printer is best for an Olympus FE 230 digital camera?

I have an Olympus FE 230 digital camera and I want to buy a photo printer. Can anyone tell me what the best make/model is, and where is the best place to get it from? I live in the UK.
I would preferably like a printer that is from the UK, as I would like to avoid shipping costs. Isn't the Epson R260 from America?

There really are on printers that are specifically better for one camera or another. These are digital images (just a bunch of zeros and ones), so all images will be treated by the printer the same way ...

That said, there are some printers that produce better images than others and use special ink that does not run once dry, dry faster and are less susceptible to fading. Epson printers leads the pack. For printing photos and CD's the Epson R260 is one of the better ones at the lowest price.

If it can, can you tell me how i can hook it up so it will work, and what, if anything, i have to download to make it work?

no it can't. if it could be used as a webcam, your owners manual would certainly have instructions on how to use it. The best thing to do is buy a webcam.

Is there a function on my Olympus fe-230 where I can keep clicking to get the action shots I want?

I need to know if my olympus fe-230, 7.1 MP has this function. I know it has a sport scene picture and a un-blurify thing but I need to know if I can keep clicking without having to stop for every picture.

I normally get soccer shots and horse sports and swimming...pretty much every kind of sport scene.

It is called "Continuous Drive" and most compact digital cameras have that feature, but will only shoot about 1 to 2 fps.

For shooting sports, using continuous drive is a crap shoot, since you never know if the camera will be exposing at the right time ... missed shots prevail suing this method.

You may find shooting at the peak of action works better. Here is how you can reduce the shutter lag in your camera.

i am interested in purchasing this. i have the fe-190 which is 6 mp but lacks features are there any significant features that i should consider to make me lean towards purchasing the fe-230 it sure it pretty.

not much difference besides an extra 1.1 MP

Was trying to fill out registration info, and was wondering which number is the serial number?
Which number, there are two?

The serial number should be located on a sticker on the bottom of the camera.

Update: It should be a letter followed by 8 numbers. For example:

"B82640022"

At least that should be how it is for the North American cams. If yours doesn't look like it, the serial is usually the boldest or largest font-wise string on the sticker and is sometimes inside a white rectangle.

Why is my Olympus FE-230 Camera taking incredibly dark pictures?

I haven't used my camera for a couple months, and when I turned it on today and tried to take a picture, the "picture" was just black space - even the screen itself, where the image is supposed to show up before you take the picture, was blank. I tried cleaning the lens, and when I did that, the screen became more of a dark, hazy purple, but the pictures still were just black. No damage has occured since the last time I used it, and it worked fine then. Can somebody please help me? Thank you. :)

Sounds like a bad CCD. See if it looks like these problem CCDs (link below) and if it does, contact Olympus, who should cover the CCD even after warranty.

Can you take black and white pictures with an Olympus FE-230 digital camera? How?

From the camera directly - not on the computer.

Not familiar with that model,but why would you want to do that...You should always shoot in color so you always have that,and then transform the pictures to b&w,sepia,or whatever later on. There are no advantages to shooting in black and white.
