A test video w/ the Olympus FE-330 camera! oh, and btw this was filmed in Prem Tinsulanonda International School in Chiangmai, You guys could come ...

I have an Olympus fe 330 which is new and i love it but I have to turn it on two times before it will work?
Can you tell me why I have to turn it on twice in order to see the image?

Check the switch or
if it is new replace it with warranty
How do you adjust olympus FE-330 brightness?
The pictures come dark, please advise.
Look in your manual or look for in the menu mode for "ISO" go up to the next highest number most likely it will be 200 if your normal setting is 100, if it's 200 then the next one will be 400. You could also use the flash mode.
Whats the difference between the Olympus FE-340 and the Olympus FE-330?
The FE-340 is the successor of the FE-330, which is no longer in production.
The FE-340 (when compared with the FE-330):
- is available in a new color
- has more internal memory (48MB vs. 20.5MB)
- has spot AF
- has ISO 800, 1600, and 3200 (compared to 640 max.)
- ability to record videos at 30fps (compared to 15fps max.)
- is slightly smaller/thinner, redesigned
Where can I find a Service Center in Mexico City for my Olympus FE-330 camera?

Should I let my battery die first and THEN charge? - Olympus FE-330?
I just bought an Olympus FE-330. It says that the battery is partially charged but it says in the manual to charge it fully and then put it in the camera. Should I just use it until it dies and then let it fully charge?
Basically - does this camera's battery have a memory that's going to screw me over later?
No ... battery memory was a feature of the old NiCd batteries no longer used in digital cameras. The state of the art batteries are the Li-ion batteries like those used in DSLR and selected compact digital cameras. The not only hold their charges longer, the can last up to five or more years.
The NiMH batteries, while do not have a memory, can slowly discharge when left between shooting events.
Battery memory no longer exists except for in the old Ni-Cad (Nickel Cadium) batteries. This means that you do not have to wait and completely drain your battery every time you want to charge it up. This does not mean that the battery will never wear down and slowly loose its ability to hold a charge. It simply means it will not adapt itself to a typical charge cycle due to repeated charging.
Can I use the USB cable to charge the battery power of the olympus FE-330?
Olympus FE-330 camera, HELP?
I have an Olympus FE-330 camera and i cant seem to figure out how to turn it to black-and-white.. PLEASE HELP AND ANSWER!!
Olympus cameras do not have live color effects outside of its E-series DSLRs and maybe its SP-series ultrazoom lineup. You can apply the effect after you take the picture in the camera or by using the included Olympus Master 2 software.
Is the Olympus FE-330 8.0 MP a decent camera?
I just need a decent, reasonably priced camera to take pictures of friends/family, but I don't want to buy a camera prone to blurriness, falling apart, etc.
It is an older model, so I couldn't find decent specs on it.
I don't like Olympus, in my experience they all have even more noise issues than the others.
That aside, it is a basic little P&S with all the usual limitations.
NO camera is safe from "blurriness".... it is up to YOU to learn about photography. A good photographer can coax good images out of any camera, you just need to know how to deal with the limitations.
On the other hand, even spending thousands of dollars still won't guarantee you good photos.
The best thing you can do for yourself is to borrow a bunch of books and read/watch tutorials on basic photography. Attend a class if you can possibly do so.
one moment screen stuck on olympus FE-330?
i was having problems fitting the usb cord into the port on my Olympus FE-330 camera, when i finally did get it in the normal screen came up with options such as "PC" "easy print" "custom print" and "Exit". i chose PC as usual and it went to a one moment screen, but it stayed there and wont connect to the computer. ive never had problems before and the camera is still very new, and hasnt been damaged at all. i keep great care of it and im frustrated its not working. i works perfectly in every other way..any help?
The USB port or cable has been damaged. This is what's making it hard to plug in. Check for visible damage, particularily dirt on the plug and in the port.
That weird behaious described appears to be a problem with the the IO data contacts. The usb fort has 4 contacts, 2 for power and 2 for data. The camera detects the cable being plugged in by power, but it seems the data isn't getting through, hence it freezes.
Since it is rather new and undamaged, get Olympus to service it under warranty. Call your place of purchase first to see if they'll do it for you. Smaller and specialty stores will, chain stores usually won't.
Or, you could get an xD card reader. You'll find them at electronics stores for $20. You can get mystery brand one for as low as $3 (try dealextreme.com, cheap but slow shipping/4wks). It'll let you transfr pictures, and frankly it works better and faster. Note that newer computers and laptops may already have an xD card reader built in, so check before you buy.
Does An Olympus FE-330 Camera.........?
Have a thing in it where you can change the coloring?
