What is the difference between Olympus digital camera models FE-350 and FE-360 and FE-370?
I was thinking about getting the FE-370 then I saw there were other ones. I was just wondering for the main points whats the difference between them all. Also if anyone has the FE-370 how are the pictures? Easy to take, high quality, or whatever else. Thanks for all your answers in advance.
The FE-370 appears to be the most powerful of the three cameras, in terms of features (only one with dual-image stabilization) as well as a longer zoom (5X optical).
The FE-360 is a smaller camera with only 3X optical zoom and only a single stabilization technology.
The FE-350 looks to be roughly the same size as the 370; but with 4X zoom and only a single stabilization technology.
There may be other differences; but it looks like the FE-370 is the best of these cameras for those reasons. The website does not offer any comparison matrix (which would be a nice way to see the differences).

Personally, I prefer the SW series over the FE for the durability and waterproof features (my brother has one).
Olympus FE-350/FE-340?
I have had REALLY bad luck with the Olympus FE-110, FE-210, FE-270, and FE-280, and that is when I lost all faith in Olympus, now I have come crawling back to the FE-3xx series. Are they any better or are they just going to be rusty dust collectors like said cameras that I have ended up selling. I am also looking at:
- Olympus FE-340
- Olympus FE-350
- Olympus Stylus 840
- Olympus Stylus 1010 (If worth the extra money from 840)
- Canon PowerShot SD1000
- Canon PowerShot SD750
Opinions?
Actually, I don't think you're going to find anything remotely good in the whole Olympus FE series (or the Stylus series, for that matter). Save for the ultra-zoom SP series and the water/shock resistant SW series, Olympus simply doesn't make good point & shoot cameras anymore (their DSLR are a whole other matter, though), and the FE and Stylus series have been consistenly using mediocre optics (I don't care about the brand they're using for the design... from a results standpoint, they're just cr*p). Add to that their (now pretty much exclusive) senseless support of the inconvenient xD format, and you have a particularly uninspiring brand choice for a point & shoot camera.
As Fhotoace has said, since you probably own some xD cards by now, try the Fujifilm Fxx series, particularly the F40fd or F50fd. They have much better optical quality and ISO performance.
dpreview will help you make a good choice. You can do a comparison too.
