Olympus SP-320 digital camera review

I have olympus sp 320 camera an every time i take a picture with flush?
I have olympus sp 320 camera an every time i take a picture with flush it has blue screen and BUSY appears so I have to wait for 5-10 seconds to see the picture that i took. it wasn't like this before, and it never happens when i don't use the flush. what is wrong, may be i pressed something.
I didn't change anything in my camera
a flush beats a straight any day of the week...lol
anyhoo, your camera needs to process the picture, or maybe the flash is charging. it might be managing the battery power. Have you changed anything in the camera like the storage media, or any of the settings, or the battery type?
who's got an olympus sp 320 digital camera?
whats your likes and disikes about this camera? only dislikes i have is the battery life being short. everything else is great.
I've used an olympus digital camera ultra zoom for years and it is great, not the same model as yours but I think the colors and definition are great. I think it is the color engine that olympus has that is really nice.
I have an Olympus sp 320 digital camera that eats batteries alive.?
i want a Kodak 12 zoom and wondered if anyone knows of the battery usage. thanks Dave Gale
I own 2 kodak digital cameras and I've never had a problem with batteries. It uses a rechargeable battery pack and I bought a third battery pack so I'm never caught with a dead battery. I take lots of pictures and during family vacations I'm the designated photographer so I know what you mean. Years ago my first digital camera was a compact Olympus and I agree it eats up batteries like a monster. Since I got my kodak DX6490 and P880 I'm more liberal with my pictures. I even take videos with it. Before actually buying though just make sure it uses a battery pack and not AA batteries. Check out its specifications. And yes read actual user reviews.
Olympus SP 320 digital camera help.?
I have an Olympus SP 320 digital camera and want to shoot pictures in black and white. I can find in the manual where it tells me how to make pictures I've already taken black and white, but I can't find where it lets you set the camera to black and white, so that I can view the pictures in the screen in black and white while I'm taking the picture. Does the camera not do this?
No - this camera does not take B&W photos directly. It only converts a photo to B&W in the Edit Menu. The B&W photo is saved as a new file.
Which one would you rather choose: EX-Z70 vs SP- 320?
(FYI: the reason im comparing is both are of the same price - $169)
Which one would you rather choose Casio Ex-z70 Very Slim/ 7.2 Mp downside ISO 400/ Lens not totaly contorlabe/ 8.3 Mb Internal memory vs Olympus SP-320 semi-Professional/ 7.2 MP/ ISO 800(max)/Totally controlable Lens/RAW image+JPEG- Downside:xD Card/Not very slim.

SP 320: http://www.steves-digicams.com/2006_reviews/sp320.html
I would really appriciate your comments. Although i lean toward SP300.
Olympus all the way.
olympus sp-320 won't turn on?
my digital camera stopped working about a week ago. when i try to turn it on, a flashing green light, and a flashing orange light apear above the screan. is there a way for me to fix it?
Transferring pictures from internal memory, to a card?
I have an Olympus SP-320 digital camera, and I took some pictures using the internal memory, which is where my pics are now stored. But I need them on the card so I can download them to my computer. I do not have my manual, and I can not use a usb port, since the cord broke.
How do I transfer my pictures!?!
Please help if you know, I can not find any information anywhere, including sites about Olympus cameras.
This is a generic answer, as I do not have an Olympus camera to check.
Look for "Copy" or "Transfer" on your utilities menu.
Choose your action, which will be either from the card to the camera or the camera to the card. You will want to choose "Camera to Card" or "Internal Memory to Card" or something similarly descriptive.
You will be asked if you want to transfer all images or just some seleceted images. Choose according to your wishes.
You will then be shown a prompt for completing the copying operation and, of course, you will choose that.
This ought to do it.
Which digital camera lens should I choose for my first?
I have an Olympus SP-320, which allows me to add lenses. I am considering buying my first lens, and want to know which one is the best choice for my first lens. 2x Telephoto, 3x Telephoto, Wide Angle, or Fish-eye? Right now I use my camera for alot of different things including landscape, sports, and the typical point and shoot family event stuff.
Landscaping would benefit from a wide angle lens. Fish eye is really a novelty and you probably won't use it much, but when you do it'll be neat and I wouldn't go past 2x on the telephoto because adding lenses tends to diminish the quality of the pic. It probably wouldn't be noticible much on 2x but 3x might show up.
Casio Vs Olympus; Which model would you rather prefer, right of the bat?
im so confuse which camera to buy EX-Z70 or SP- 320?

SP 320:http://www.steves-digicams.com/2006_reviews/sp320.html
I would really appriciate your comments. Although i lean toward Olympus SP320.?
If this is the only 2 to choose from, I'll go for the Olympus. Here are the list of my reason.
1. Olympus have been making camera for years. Much longer than Casio and they once known for good lens quality yearS ago.
2. Olympus have a viewfinder which allow you to turn off the LCD to save battery and still able to take picture.
3. It should be more comfortable to hold it steady to prevent picture burr due to hand shake.
4. Olympus have a larger CCD sensor which means even tho they have the same effective pixels, the Olympus will produces greater details.
5. I don't know why people so against AA battery. I just love them especially when you go travel. Consider when you are out travel and you just happened to take a bit way too many pictures in the afternoon, the battery ran out and you still have a few places to see. What you going to do? With AA, you can just get them anywhere. Plus, if you get the best rechargeable AA NiMH out there, it will still cost less than those rechargeable Li-Ion that came with those non-AA camera. It last just as long or longer if you get the right one (2500mAH or higher). Duracell and Energizer both made 15mins charger and it work great. I don't think you can charge any Li-Ion battery in 15mins.
However, if you are not limited to this 2 selection, go for a Canon.
