How do i fix my olympus stylus 810?

I haven a olympus stylus 810, 8 megapixel. My brother dropped it when he was using it. The camera lens just keeps expanding and contracting, and the LCD doesn't turn on. What do i do?

fixing camera is not do it yourself so the best bet is to take the camera in to have it fixed

you might want to consider on getting a new camera because the amount to get the camera fix would be equal or greater than what it's actually worth

How much is Used Olympus Stylus 810 worth?

It is in good condition with charger battery usb cable and carrying case. I am just wondering what to expect from an ebay sale as I just bought the d40 from nikon

"Watch" ebay auctions and see what the final sale prices are.

I have Epson Stylus Photo 810 printer. How can I print with Black only without having to buy new colour ink?

for most epson printers, you can't. that's their hardware configuration and you really can't change it.

What is the dpi rating for an Epsom stylus Photo 810 printer?

Need maximum detail on some photos - some have been scanned at 1200 dpi, but this doesn.t seem to work on my 810.
Is it capable of handling this dpi? What is max rating for 810?

I have that printer, and you need to go quite far into the settings to tell :(
but as far as knew, the default settingwas not the highest - it was around 740, and photo was around 1200 or something. Check out the properties and create some "profiles" so you can change your quality for different documents

2880 x 720

dpi stands for "dots per inch" which is the density of dots per square inch.

Now, while you scan or print something, you have the settings options where you have one setting as default and need to click on the drop down menu to bring the options which, if I'm not mistaken, go on to 2, 880 dpi.

A word of caution though; the greater the density the greater the file size! While a 2, 880 dpi will make even the 1, 200 dpi image look like crap, it's size could be appalling! So, if you value your space, don't ever save it. Delete the temp folder as soon as you're done.

Cheers.

HP Laser Jet 1020

Hi,where can I check to see if there are any Epson stylus photo 810 updated software downloads? please. Thanks

Blue lines are appearing on my printouts through the bars when im doing a printout

You might want to try Epson's website. I get the feeling that they might have something like that.

go to Epson's web site.

here link ------->
http://www.epson.com.sg/epson/drivers/driver_download.htm?dc=1&mode=3&m=false&catid=1&pid=411

that shouldn't be the drivers it sounds like the print nozzles and the rollers need cleaning to clean the print nozzles use the cleaning faculty build in to the drivers
to clean the rollers you only need to use a damp cloth because the ink is water soluble

epson site put in your printer and drives

Epson Stylus Photo 925 Printer?

I have one of the above printers, which has just given up the big one after 6 years of trouble free use, however i have a huge back stock of inks which i want to use before i upgrade properly.

Just wondered if anyone could tell me if anywhere has one of these printers (or a printer which uses the same cartridges) for sale anywhere, a link would be much appreciated.

The Cartridge No's are TO26
TO27

For Epson Stylus Photo 810/830/830U/925/935

They may have made other models to take these inks but i'm not sure. any model of printer would be appreciated, as long as it uses these cartridges.

Many Thanks For Your Help

I would strong advise you not to buy an old printer just to use the cartridges. Ink jet printers have a finite lifetime. The printer you buy can die a week later and then where are you? You are better off selling the cartridges on ebay and buying a new printer. Here are some tips:

Lasers have sharper text and are generally faster than inkjets. While toner cartridges are more expensive than ink, they print more pages, so the cost per page is lower. But you pay more up front. Inkjets are better for photos and cheaper for low volume. Personally, I use both. I have an inkjet for photos, a color laser for high volume color jobs and a black laser for regular text. I use the black laser most often.
You can get a good color laser today for $80! Samsung CLP-300 at http://www.staples.com/office/supplies/p16__200401_Business_Supplies_10051_true_SEARCH
I have this printer and it's really nice. Toner cartridges are more expensive then inkjet cartridges ($70 for a set of 4 at http://ccs-digital.com/ink.asp ) but they last for about 2,000 pages. It does a nice job on photos, but an inkjet is still better for this.

Inkjet: As someone who was in the computer hardware business for years (though I rarely sold printers since I couldn't compete with the crazy rebates) I have always recommended Epson. The print quality is excellent, even on plain paper. I have photos I printed on a 640 about ten years ago hanging in my office which still look good, though not as good as the ones from the CX8400 on glossy paper. The warranty is excellent. For a year, Epson will express-ship a replacement and pick up the old one. I had one customer who needed this. He called one afternoon and had the replacement two days later. Another client bought a Canon. It needed two repairs within a few months. Each time it was taken to the repair center, then picked up a few days later. This client runs a specialty printing business and this really hurt. They have since bought an Epson CX5000 and have had no down time since.
All name brand ink is expensive, but you can get cheap new replacement cartridges for Epson (not refills which I never recommend) for under $5 at http://ccs-digital.com/ink.asp I have been using these for years.
The C120 (printer only - no scanner) is on sale at Ritz Camera free after rebate but you must also buy a digital camera. The cheapest is $15. With $7 shipping you pay $22 for printer and camera. It uses 3 colors and 2 of the SAME black cartridge.

A set of 5 cartridges are $25 at http://ccs-digital.com/ink.asp
The RX595 scanner/copier/printer also prints on DVDs. It uses 5 colors plus black and has even higher photo quality. You can get it at Ritz Camera for $45 after rebate (with digital camera) or for $80 after $55 instant rebate.

camera help!?

i just bought a olympus stylus 810 and i need to buy and XD memory card but first i need to know if you have to have an XD memory card reader or if i can just use the USB cord to plug the camera to the computer and it will read the memory card through the computer??

If your camera came with a USB cable and a USB port (which I'm assuming it did as most do), then yes, you'll be able to load your images off your camera (with the XD memory card in it) into your computer.

which colour photo printer is better for company use?Canon,epson,HP...?

I want to buy a photo printer for fashion designing. Which will be better? Currently I am using Epson Photo Stylus 810 but I don't like quality, and need frequently repair.

HP makes the most reliable printer on the market right now. Try looking into the HP 8750 photo printer, or even the HP 9800. Great photo printers. One of those two have 9-ink printing for an awesome color photograph and awesome black and white photos.

And despite some of the other answers to your question, Lexmark and Dell (made by Lexmark) printers are poorly made and ink is very expensive.

My printer won't work...?

I have the Epson stylus photo 810 printer. I have connected my laptop up to it before. Then i tried to connect my actual printer to my laptop but it didn't work. When I came back to print 'wirelessly' I could not. I connected my printer from the desktop to my laptop and now it won't print. Does anyone know why?? Please help...I need to print something off for my revision (GCSE's)!!!!!!
Wat do u means about errors??
Wat do u means about errors??

What error are you getting?

If you go to Control Panel then Printers, your printer is listed there correct? And it is set as the Default Printer?
When you try and print something, does any error message come up?
